They say it's your birthday!


Happy Birthday Mom! In honor of your special day we have compiled a list of SIXTY things we love about you! (plagiarized from Jamie) Please note that these are in no particular order.

  1. Your Cottage Cheese dumplings. (Now these are called Gluten Dumplings)
  2. You are a mother to my husband. (this one is from Randy, too!)
  3. You never forgot to tuck me in at night.
  4. You came to sit with my 2-week-old colicky baby at 2 a.m. Thanksgiving morning.
  5. You hosted the most beautiful wedding in your backyard at a moment’s notice. And the wedding dinner, too!
  6. You were there when all three of my children were born.
  7. You play a mean game of pitch.
  8. You have cleaned my house.
  9. You have even weeded my yard!
  10. I can call you anytime. Anyplace.
  11. You are a great example of how to have a long and happy marriage.
  12. You treated your mother-in-law like she was your own mother.
  13. You like to shop. And sometimes you take me with you.
  14. You like to eat out. And sometimes she takes me with you.
  15. You let me take piano and saxophone lessons.
  16. You took us to Disney World and bought all three of us matching T-shirts in case we got lost. Which was good because one of us did! (Where’s CHAD??!!)
  17. You love each of my children for who they are. Piercings and tattoos!
  18. You love Stella just like one of the gang.
  19. All those camping trips that you planned, packed and cooked for!
  20. Your Christ filled spirit.
