Yesterday, Abe and I were doing a little game. I would say a word and I wanted him to give me two different defintions.
For example:
Me: Bat
Him: while flapping his arms he said a bat that flies and what you would hit a ball with.
Me: Blue
Him: My shirt is blue and I'm down in the dumps blue.
That struck me odd because the only people I know who refer to down in the dumps as blue are my mom and grandma.
So I asked my little Mennonite girl, I mean 7 year old son where on earth he would have ever heard "down in the dumps blue?"
Him: I dunno know! TV?
